Zarin Fabrics

For 80 years, the family owned Zarin Fabrics has been a staple of the Lower East Side.

Last night, I went to an event at Zarin Fabrics—a staple of the designer fabric game since 1936. I have to say, the space is huge, with a showroom displaying cozy couches on the ground floor, a large room filled with rows and rows of fabric on the second floor—think everything from delicate lace and bright floral prints to rich velvet and leather—and a space for hardware in the basement.
