Aburiya Kinnosuke

Bringing Izakaya cuisine to NYC, this sushi-free Midtown East restaurant serves a number of vegetable, meat and fish dishes, all made from fresh ingredients. The creative menu boasts items like grilled Saikyo miso-marinated lamb chop to start and beef innards with cabbage and spicy mayo or grilled Atka mackerel for larger dishes. L (M-F), D (nightly). $$

Acappella

Chef/Owner Sergio Acappella brings his Italian roots to a menu of classic dishes—lobster with Italian herbs, spices, garlic and white wine; triple-cut veal chop grilled with cherry peppers, bell peppers and topped with balsamic vinegar; handmade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and white wine—served in a spacious and luxuriously dining room.
