The Back Room

Once an actual Prohibition-era speakeasy, this hidden bar brings back the past with an entrance hidden in an alley alongside a "Lower East Side Toy Company" front. Inside, beer is served in paper bags and cocktails in tea cups. Mon-Sun 7:30 pm-2 am, Tues-Thur 7:30 pm-3 am, Fri-Sat 7:30 pm-4 am.

The Bitter End

Greenwich Village’s home to rock, blues, jazz, funk, hip-hop and country since 1961. Everyone from Joan Baez to Hall & Oates to Stevie Wonder to Neil Young has performed here. Live music nightly. 

The Bowery Electric

DJs and musicians thrill guests nightly at this multilevel performance and night club space.

The Box

Formerly a sign factory in the 1920s, this intimate variety theater has a New Orleans-style decor—dramatic chandeliers and velvet balcony booths—and hosts late-night acts, from human oddity shows to avant-garde striptease. Dress to impress.

Tu-Sa: Doors open 11 pm, multiple shows from 1 am.

The Broadway Comedy Club

Top stand-up comedians from Sirius XM Radio, Comedy Central and more perform at this Times Square venue. Several shows nightly. Menu includes burgers and nachos, plus beer, wine and spirits.

The Campbell Apartment

The tried-and-true commuter bar in Grand Central Terminal is housed inside the legendary Campbell Apartment and recently reopened after touch-ups and the added swank of elegant wall sconces and a marble-top bar. People-watchers can observe the everyday comings-and-goings of Metro-North railroad riders from Connecticut, the Hudson Valley, Westchester, Harlem and the Bronx while snacking on crispy tuna tartare tacos and New York State cheeses with walnut raison toast.

The Central Bar

Rollicking Irish pub downstairs and spacious lounge with cushy benches upstairs, this bar has something for everyone. Daily 11 a.m.-4 a.m.

The Cotton Club

Open since 1923, this legendary space offers guests a classic New York night on the town with dancing, dinner and live music.
