Modern American folk music meets New Orleans-inspired jazz in Anaïs Mitchell’s musical, an epic interpretation of two classic love stories: that of Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife, Persephone. Rachel Chavkin directs this journey to the Underworld.
