The 2018–2019 Broadway season culminates in the gala awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall, during which achievements in acting, writing, direction, sets, costumes, lighting and more are honored. The show is broadcast live on CBS-TV (local Channel 2) 8–11 pm.
To qualify for a 2019 Tony Award, a play or musical must open on or before April 25, 2019. Nominations are announced on April 30, 2019.
