Organized by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID), Miracle on Madison Avenue—the 32nd annual one-day shopping event—benefits The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Pediatric Programs. Participating stores, boutiques and galleries along the luxury retail thoroughfare, between E. 57th and E. 86th sts, donate 20 percent of the day’s sales (up to $15,000 per store) to the volunteer-led organization that not only raises funds for cancer research and treatment, but also provides public education on the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.

Participating establishments include Alexis Bittar, Anne Fontaine, Apple, Baahng Gallery, Carolina Herrera, Eric Thomsen Gallery, Frette, Gagosian Shop, Giorgio Armani, Jimmy Choo, La Maison du Chocolat, Michael Kors (Collection and Lifestyle), Ralph Lauren (Men’s, Women’s, Boy’s and Girl’s), Smythson, Vilbrequin, Wolford and scores of others.

In-store festivities include holiday treats and champagne toasts. There’s also the opportunity to meet and greet Memorial Sloan Kettering’s prized (and family-friendly) therapy dogs.

Hours on Dec. 1, 2018, are 10 am-5 pm.

For further information and a full list of participating stores and galleries, visit the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) website, madisonavenuebid.org.
