Do you love Will Ferrell movies? What about Christmas? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then it’s about time you see ELF The Musical.

This fairly new holiday tradition (it first graced The Great White Way during the 2010-2011 holiday season) is based on the 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Ferrell, James Caan and Zooey Deschanel. With a new home this year at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, this festive holiday treat follows Buddy, a young orphan child who crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s large size and poor toy-making skills cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New Yorkers get in the festive holiday spirit.

ELF The Musical plays at The Theater at Madison Square Garden thru Sun., Dec. 27.

This toe-tapping musical features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). For details, click here.
