Halloween Parties in NYC

Halloween Parties in NYC

From Uptown to Downtown, there are plenty of places in Manhattan to party hard tomorrow night. Here are a few places hosting fun Halloween parties.

Uptown
Fans of Alice in Wonderland can peer through the looking glass tomorrow night at the Italian restaurant Babbalucci, which will host an Alice in Wonderland-themed Halloween party. The staff at this Harlem eatery will be dressed as characters from the popular film (but you can come as whoever you’d like) and aperitivo snacks will be served from 6 p.m. to midnight, with extended hours at the bar.

Midtown
Partygoers can enjoy their Halloween fun on the roof of New York at the aptly named cocktail lounge The Roof, which is perched atop the Viceroy New York hotel in Midtown West. The venue’s Halloween masquerade will start at 10 p.m. tomorrow with music by Chazz Rockwell. For reservations, call 212.707.8008 or email hostess@theroofny.com. Across town in Midtown East, Whiskey Blue will turn into “Whiskey Boo!” tomorrow night starting at 10 p.m. Festivities at the venue, housed in the W New York, will include a costume contest. For reservations, call 212.407.2947 or email thouse@gerberbars.com.

Downtown
Lumos
, a Greenwich Village watering hole with an Asian-influenced food and cocktail menu, will host a party into the wee morning hours. Festivities will include a bevy of burlesque performances, DJ music and more. There will be five sets of burlesque performances, with the first seating starting at 11 p.m. and the last seating at 1:45 a.m. Tickets are $45. To purchase and for more information, click here. To reserve a table, email reservation@lumosnyc.com. If you’re in Tribeca, spend Halloween at ROC Restaurant. The theme is “Movies” and visitors are encouraged to come as any character from any movie! Now in its 14th year, this annual party, which begins after 8 p.m., will feature beautiful decorations and amazing music, dinner à la carte—with lots of specials to choose from—dancing and partying thru the night. Reservations are suggested and dinner is available anytime after 7 p.m.
