On Friday night, I had an impromptu get together with a friend. She is my go-to person for happy hour and we usually go to the same spots. However, on this particular occasion, she wanted to try something different. With a little research, we decided on Raymi, a Peruvian restaurant near Madison Square Park. This space is gorgeous and we both instantly fell in love with the design. The dining room has several tables and a ceviche bar near the main bar. Although I just had a glass of wine, my friend was a tad bit more adventurous and tried the Mojadita—a creative cocktail made with Pisco Porton, mint, lime and ginger. I tried a sip and it was very refreshing and light. She also enjoyed the ceviche, as well as the pork and shrimp spring rolls. Definitely stop by on a Tuesday when Happy Hour lasts from 5 p.m. to close. The happy hour menu includes $8 Signature Cocktails, $6 wines & $4 beers and $3 Peruvian small bites.
