Burgers You Need To Try Today. Like Right Now.


Summer is almost here, and we’ve got burgers on the mind. (Who are we kidding - we think about them year-round.) From the truly decadent—think meat-on-meat toppings like flavorful brisket ON a burger—to Spanish, French, Mediterranean and California-inspired takes, there is always a new burger in NYC to devour. Check out some of the newest offerings of our favorite meaty cheat day food.

The Boqueria Burger ($20) is this vibrant Spanish tapas bar and restaurant’s take on a juicy burger, brand new to the lunch menu this spring. It's made from dry-aged rib steak and brisket, topped with red wine onions, Valdeón cheese and served on a brioche bun coated with allioli, alongside piparras, french fries and mixed greens.

Infamous Bistro

The Upper West Side's Infamous Bistro elevates the classic burger with its Double Brisket Burger ($19), a thick beef burger topped with thinly sliced house-smoked brisket (yes, meat topped with meat), spicy chipotle mayo, caramelized onion, Gruyère and a housemade bun baked on-site in their pizza oven. The burger is served with crispy french fries, ideal for soaking up the savory juices and decadent sauce from the burger and brisket.

For the vegetarians or those just looking for a non-meat option, Infamous also has an outstanding

Housemade Veggie Burger($18) that even a carnivore could love, with a hearty patty made from beets, mushrooms, cashews and beans, topped with Gruyère, chef's special sauce, pickled red onion and lettuce.

Located in the heart of NoLita, Shoo Shoo is a stylish restaurant and bar that offers its own spin on Mediterranean cuisine. Among many classic, Israeli staples on their menu, such as shakshuka, arayes, and Middle Eastern daal, the restaurant offers a flavorful Shoo Shoo Burger ($19), available for lunch, dinner, and brunch. The burger consists of USDA-certified organic, grass-fed beef, stacked with roasted onions and pickles, smeared with roasted tomato ketchup and aioli, and served with a side of crispy herb french fries.

Avocado toast...but make it burger. The Flying Cock, which features imaginative takes on classic comfort food, offers a selection of Pat LaFrieda burgers includingthe one-of-a-kind California Dreamin’ Burger ($18). The burger is made from a 8oz patty of grass-fed beef, topped with avocado, fontina cheese, and a sunny side up egg served between a roasted jalapeño aioli coated brioche bun with a side of fries ($18).

This cozy and romantic French spot tucked away on a quiet corner in Williamsburg is home to one of the borough’s best-kept burger secrets: the Burger La Cafette ($16). It consists of a house-blended, 7 oz. grass-fed beef patty topped with funky camembert and Monterey jack cheeses, and served on a toasted brioche bun slicked with housemade seeded mustard mayonnaise.
