Don’t miss out and join the World Science Festival and Con Edison on Staten Island Sunday, September 23rd from 10 am- 4 pm for this larger-than-life, touring event where the wondrous properties of science, technology, engineering and math collide. The day will be jam-packed with interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, tours of the Astrophysical Observatory and enormous exhibitions.

The annual live, week-long Festival, which launched in 2008, has collectively drawn more than 2.5 million visitors worldwide, with millions more viewing the programs online. The Festival takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets, parks, museums, galleries and premier performing arts venues of New York City and beyond.

This year, there will even be an opportunity to learn how to power a motor with mind control! FREE and open to the public. Click here for more info: http://www.worldsciencefestival.com/education/city-of-science
